
CHEF TRAINING
CHOP is more than a dining destination—it’s a launchpad for careers in the culinary industry.
At CHOP, students from the Genesis Center’s culinary training program gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. CHOP offers practical on-the-job training that not only deepens their culinary skills but also opens doors to various careers in the hospitality industry. Students can advance their knowledge in areas such as bar and beverage management, hospitality operations, and entrepreneurship.
CHOP also serves as the first employer site for students enrolled in the Center’s State-accredited apprenticeship program. This comprehensive 2,000-hour training allows students to “earn while you learn,” providing invaluable work experience alongside their education.
